Mei Lee, as a red panda crochet doll

The Mei Lee red panda crochet doll is the studio's boldest single colour: a deep red worked across the whole body with the darker markings set into it.

Fur is the thing crochet cannot do literally, so it is suggested instead — the texture comes from the stitch itself rather than from anything brushed or trimmed. The ears, the tail and the face markings are separate pieces, joined so the colour lines stay crisp.
